Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of periodontal restoration on periodontal indexes and inflammatory factors of gingival crevicular fluid in patients with prosthodontics. Methods A total of 80 cases patients with prosthodontic admitted to The First People's Hospital of Lanzhou City from October 2018 to August 2020 were selected, and divided into the control group (40 cases) and the experimental group (40 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine prosthodontics, and the experimental group received periodontal reduction . Clinical results 4 weeks after surgery, inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid , function of the teeth, periodontal index of patients in the two groups before and 4 weeks after surgery were compared. Results 4 weeks after surgery, the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group; compared with before surgery, 4 weeks after surgery, the levels of gingival crevicular fluid c-reactive protein (CRP), matrix metalloproteinase-8 (MMP-8), interleukin-6 (IL-6), periodontal probing depth (PD), loss of attachment (AL) and plaque index (PLI) decreased in the two groups, and the experimental group was lower than the control group; compared with before surgery, 4 weeks after surgery, the scores of masticatory function, language function, comfort and dental aesthetics all increased in the two groups, and the experimental group was higher than the control group(all P <0.05). Conclusion Periodontal reduction can reduce the levels of inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid, improve dental function and periodontal condition, and improve clinical efficacy.
