Abstract:Objective? To investigate the effects of acupuncture treatment on peak systolic blood flow velocity (VP), vascular pulsatility index (PI) levels and neurological function in children with cerebral palsy, in order to provide evidence for improving the prognosis of children. Methods? According to the random number table method, 80 children with cerebral palsy admitted to the 988th Hospital of the Joint Service Support Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from February 2020 to February 2021 were divided into the control group and the observation group, each with 40 cases. And the control group was treated with monosialotetrahexose ganglioside sodium combined with neurophysiological therapy (Bobath therapy), the observation group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 3 months continuously. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of children after treatment, VP, PI, serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), creatine kinase isoenzyme BB (CK-BB) levels, Barthel index (BI) and Gross motor function measure (GMFM) score were compared before and after treatment. Results? After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group; compared with before treatment, the VP, BI and GMFM scores of the two groups of children increased after treatment, and the observation group was higher than those of the control group; while the levels of PI and serum VEGF and CK-BB of the two groups of children decreased, and the observation group was lower than those of the control group (all P
