Objective To explore the effects of Kangfuxin solution combined with mesalazine on the serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-8 (IL-8) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels, coagulation function and immune function of patients with ulcerative colitis. Methods A total of 60 patients with ulcerative colitis admitted to Yixing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method. 30 patients in the control group were treated with mesalazine, and 30 patients in the observation group were treated combined with Kangfuxin solution on the basis of the treatment of patients in the control group, and both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy of patients in the two groups after treatment was compared, the levels of inflammatory factor indexes (TNF-α, IL-8, IL-6) and coagulation function indexes [prothrombin time (PT), platelet count (PLT), fibrinogen (FIB)] , and T lymphocyte subset indicators (CD3+ , CD4+ , CD8+ percentage, CD4+ /CD8+ ratio) levels before and after treatment of patients in the two groups were compared. Results The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group; the serum TNF-α, IL-8, IL-6 levels, plasma PLT levels and CD8+ percentage of patients in the two groups, and FIB levels of patients in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group; the plasma PT of patients in the two groups after treatment significantly prolonged, and the observation group was significantly longer than the control group; while the percentage of CD3+ , CD4+ and CD4+ /CD8+ ratio of patients in the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (all P<0.05); the FIB of patients in the control group was lower than that before treatment, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion Kangfuxin solution combined with mesalazine in the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis can effectively reduce the level of inflammatory factors, improve the patient’s coagulation function, regulate theT lymphocyte subsets, and enhance the immune function, and the treatment effect is remarkable.
