Abstract:Objective? To analyze the influence of digital intraoral scanning technology and traditional silicone rubber fine impression technology on clinical efficacy and periodontal indexes of patients with anterior teeth porcelain veneer restoration, in order to provide an effective reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods According to the random number table method, 140 patients who received porcelain veneer repair treatment for anterior tooth defect from March 2016 to November 2020 in Beijing Ruicheng Hospital Management Co., Ltd. Ruitai Stomatological Hospital Branch were divided into control group and research group, each with 70 cases. The patients in the control group were treated with traditional silicone rubber fine impression technology, and the patients in the research group were treated with digital intraoral scanning technology. Both groups were followed up regularly for 1 year after treatment. The clinical efficacy, clinical related indexes, periodontal indexes before treatment and 2 months after treatment, restoration effect 2 months after treatment, and complications at 1 year after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results? 1 year after treatment, the total effective rate of patients in the research group was significantly higher than that in the control group; the time of taking the model and the time of tooth wearing in the research group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the marginal gap was significantly smaller than that in the control group; compared with before treatment, the plaque index (PLI) and bleeding index (BI) of the two groups of patients significantly increased at 2 months after treatment, but the research group was significantly lower than the control group; the proportions of grade A in effect of retention and marginal staining of the patients in the research group were significantly higher than those of the control group; 1 year after treatment, the total incidence of complications in the researchgroup was significantly lower than that in the control group(all P<0.05); and 2 months after treatment, the surface texture and color matching effects of the two groups were compared, and there was no statistical difference (all P>0.05). Conclusion Compared with the traditional silicone rubber fine impression technology, digital intraoral scanning technology has better therapeutic effect on anterior teeth porcelain veneer restoration, and has the advantages of short treatment time, high color matching, high degree of fit, and it has less impact on patients' periodontal indicators and with higher security.
