Objective? To investigate the effect of acupuncture combined with Erlongzuoci decoction on the hemorheological indexes of tinnitus patients with kidney essence deficiency pattern. Methods? A total of 100 cases tinnitus patients with kidney essence deficiency pattern admitted to [Wujiang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (The Second People's Hospital of Wujiang District)] from February 2021 to November 2021 were divided into the control group (50 cases) and the observation group (50 cases), according to the random number table method. Patients in the control group were treated with Erlongzuoci decoction treatment, patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion on the basis of the control group, patients in the two groups were continuously treated for 3 weeks.The clinical efficacy after treatment, tinnitus loudness, tinnitus disability score, quality of life score, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome score, plasma viscosity, high shear whole blood viscosity, low shear whole blood viscosity, hematocrit level before and after treatment of patients in the two groups were compared. Results? After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 92.00%, which was higher than 74.00% of the control group; compared with before treatment, after treatment, the tinnitus loudness, tinnitus disability score, plasma viscosity, high shear whole blood viscosity, low shear whole blood viscosity, hematocrit level and TCM syndrome scores of tinnitus noise, vertigo, nausea and vomiting of patients in the two groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group; the quality of life scores of patients in the two groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Erlongzuoci decoction can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of tinnitus patients with kidney essence deficiency pattern, reduce tinnitus loudness and tinnitus disability score, improve hemorheology indexes and quality of life.
